Umar Sadiq, Valencia CF's new loan signing from Real Sociedad, joins with extensive experience to his name.
BIOGRAPHY
He began his professional career in 2014, signing for the Spezia youth team from Abuja College in Nigeria. After a successful season with the Italian team's Under-19 team, in which he scored 25 goals in 28 games, he signed for AS Roma's Under-19 side, scoring 19 goals in 19 games. This led him to make his debut with the first team, playing in 6 games and scoring 2 goals.

Sadiq also played for Bologna (2016-17), Torino (2017-18) and Perugia (2018-19) on loan.
In other leagues, he played for NAC Breda (2017-2018), Rangers FC (2018-2019) and Partizán de Belgrado (2019-2021). With the latter, he racked up 23 goals and 4 assists in 52 appearances.
His first venture into Spanish football came at UD Almería. Over three seasons, from 2020, he accumulated 43 goals and 13 assists in 84 games, in addition to helping the team to promotion to LALIGA EA SPORTS.

On September 1st, 2022, he joined Real Sociedad, although after just 3 games he suffered a serious knee injury that ruled him out for the season. The next campaign, he played 36 times scored 3 goals.
This term, he played 11 games for Real Sociedad (7 in LALIGA EA SPORTS, 3 in the UEFA Europa League and 1 in the Copa del Rey).
